Triathlon can be a lonely sport, and our community feature exists to change that. Finding even a handful of like-minded athletes on the platform can meaningfully improve your motivation and consistency.

How to do it:

  1. Navigate to the Community section from the main menu.

Athelte Guide 3 Work with a Coach

  1. Browse athletes, coaches, and seller profiles to find a connection you need.
  2. If you are looking for fellow triathletes, explore people at a similar experience level, training for similar distances, or based near you.
  3. Send a message to introduce yourself. You don’t need a reason. A simple “Hey, I’m also training for my first 70.3” is enough to start a conversation.
  4. Use messaging to stay in regular contact. Share how training is going, ask for advice, or just check in. Consistency in communication tends to build consistency in training.

Tips:

  • Don’t wait to feel ready before reaching out. The best time to connect with other athletes is early, before you’re deep in a training block and too busy to socialise.
  • Quality over quantity. A few genuine connections with athletes at your level are more valuable than a large network of strangers.
  • If you’re experienced, don’t underestimate the value of mentoring newer athletes. It keeps you engaged with the community.
